CLAU'S ANATOMY: 2nd chemo

I feel nothing. No funny thoughts today.

claudia maijoor: October 2010 I was diagnosed with breast cancer that had spread to nine different places in my upper body. I was treated with chemotherapy and radiation. The chemo did what it had to ....we thought. In september 2011 the cancer was back. A little more severe than what we had hoped for. Again my upper body was under attack by breast cancer. They treated me with another type of chemotherapy in combination with a trial medicine called Olaparib. It didn't work for long. My options narrowed. They tried Xeloda, also that failed. Hope vanishes. At this moment several trials are a possibility. We don't want to start with the severe chemo's. I don't want to be ill the remaining years of my life. In the meantime I work on this blog. Had to stop working but in this way I have control of my ambitions and life.
