Also had my CT Scan today. Monday 2nd of januari 2012 we will get the results.

Antwerp

Christmas shopping in Antwerp with the kids and dogs.

Not a really long day but a nice day. 

We shopped for two hours and ate Belgian Waffles along the way.

On our way back home we invited ourselves for dinner with friends in Laren.

Neutrophil granulocyte is today 1.0. Healthy people have 7.5. 

For the next cure it has to be 1.5

Had my 4th chemo yesterday...

Ruud and me tanked up

We went to Monnickendam and toured in the backgarden of Amsterdam, Waterland. We stayed in hotel/restaurant "De Posthoorn". It was wonderfull! 

At arrival in our room we found 3 bags with presents and an enveloppe what told us that the arrangement in "De Posthoorn" was given by Doreen, Pieter, papa and mama. Too much..... I cried.

Besides all the presents they took care of the children, dogs, soccer, hockey. Cleaned the house. Wiped the windows. Placed a christmastree outside. Painted the kids rooms.....

Too much to thank for. How can I ever repay? What will we do without them?

Golden times arrived

Saint Nicholas gave Kikki a Golden Hamster. Kikki named her Karlie!

9th monday morning check up

Low on white blood cells. Nothing new under the sun!

I sound like a broken record...... tired, tired, tired

We had a great day!

Our 8th year with the "real" Sint! It was wonderful!

A day not blogged is a day not lived...

nothing to tell....

The sun is shining, a day for myself, been to the park with my dogs, a good day!

Ruud is my Dexter....

Today in the elevator of the AVL. Was there for my 8th blood blood analyse... every monday... 

I've got my own bloodstain pattern analyst his name is also Ruud. Never saw him. He works in the lab at AVL. 

I see his name on the tubes with blood. He analyses my blood on the scientific disciplines of biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics....  If an analyst follows a scientific process, this applied science can produce strong, solid evidence, making it an effective tool for investigators,.....my oncologists.

The Leco look

I just saw Leco van Zadelhoff on TV. I have my flaws.... I love Leco hair (and Marco Borsato) 

My mom promised me last year a treatment by Leco when my hair had grown back.

It's a long wait but one day I will look like Leontien....

Mom and dad came by to help around the house.

What must I do without them!!!

Couch potato

First week after 3rd chemo. I'm tired. 

But also bad-tempered. 

It's temporary.... Maybe tomorrow or in a few days I will find my good mood back.

Otherwise I have finally something to talk about with my shrink.

Some friends surf on internet, 

some friends you can talk with, some bring lyrics, 

some bring juices, some take care of my kids

and some friends cut my hair or give me hair......

Monday morning reds

 I've had my weekly check ups. All is well.

I live a really dull life at the moment. I'm so tired that turning on the tv is already too much of an effort! But my incredible husband has a little more adventurous life! Ruud photographed the God of soccer, Messi, in Barcelona for an Adidas campaign yesterday! Ruud is my hero! And not only because he photographed Messi.....

I lOVE bald men. Such as my own husband (see here under) ! But also Bruce Willis, Vin Diesel are not bad either. Even bald women such as Sinead O'Connor (Natalie Portman and Demi Moore..... only for one movie) look good with a bald head.
